Around 39% of women experience postpartum depression, a growing issue that has tripled since the pandemic, affecting one in six women. Additionally, one in 235 women in the U.S. will have a stillbirth. These experiences can lead to long-term psychological distress and diminished quality of life. Despite increased awareness, many women, especially in marginalized communities, lack access to mental health support. Overcoming Overwhelming (OO) was founded to bridge this gap, offering mental health support, peer connections, and resources to help women heal and build community.
