Radical Reclaim: The Guided Recovery Journal
A Structured Workbook for Co-Parenting Trauma Recovery
This is not a diary. It’s a daily practice for getting your peace back.
High-conflict co-parenting wears you down in small ways every day: the text that ruins your morning, the schedule change you didn’t agree to, the urge to explain yourself one more time. You can’t think your way out of that while you’re still in it.
The Radical Reclaim Guided Recovery Journal gives you a daily structure for calming your nervous system, protecting your boundaries, and getting out of the cycle of reacting, defending, and fixing. It works as a companion to the Radical Reclaim eBook, or on its own.
What’s inside:
- The Lines in the Sand Contract. Write down your communication, physical, and mental boundaries, then sign it as an agreement with yourself.
- The Trigger Inventory. Map what sets you off and find out whether you tend to fight, flee, freeze, or fawn.
- The Emergency Response Protocol. A fill-in sheet with your allies, your 5-minute calming resets, and your safe locations, ready for the moment your thinking goes offline.
- Pocket Bill of Rights. A page of cut-out cards, six with affirmations and four blank for your own, to keep in your wallet or on your mirror.
-
Personal Recovery Vision. Picture the peaceful home you’re building and who you are outside the conflict.
The 30-Day Radical Recovery Cycle
Each day is three pages:
- Morning Alignment. Check in with your body and set your boundary and communication rule before you open the app.
- Evening Reflection. A guided set of questions that go from the surface reaction to the fear underneath, ending with a nighttime release.
- Evidence & Documentation Log. Record interactions in a calm, factual format so the emotion stays out of the record.
Celebrate as you go
- Three therapeutic Bingo Boards, at the start, the halfway point, and the finish, so you can see your quiet wins add up.
- The 30-Day Growth Audit compares Day 1 with today, using heart-shading ratings and room for your reflections.
Look ahead
- Lessons Learned & Personal Wins for recording what you’ve learned.
- The Next 90-Day Boundary Blueprint for deciding which habits to keep and which to drop.
- The Freedom Tracker for measuring confidence, boundary strength, and recovery.
- Letter to My Future Self and a closing graduation page.
You’ll learn to:
✔ Lower your baseline anxiety by recognizing and soothing your trauma responses
✔ Build boundaries that protect your mental health, your home, and your future
✔ Stop taking the bait and step out of managing and fixing everything for others
✔ Shift your focus from the co-parent back to your own life
✔ See your healing in writing, one page at a time
It’s for you if you:
- Are ready to move from reacting to responding
- Want a gentle, structured routine rather than a blank page
- Need somewhere to put the thoughts that keep you up at night
Healing is not linear. Peace is a practice. Boundaries are acts of self-respect.
Format: Digital printable workbook (PDF), about 108 pages. A tablet with a stylus or a printer both work.
